My name is Karen Cernich Dickhut. I’m a writer based in Washington, Mo., just outside of St. Louis. After leaving a career in the newspaper industry where I worked as features editor for more than 20 years, I found that I didn’t want to stop writing about all of the interesting people, places, programs and events happening around me, so I created this blog as a way to share more good stories with everyone.
